Through the lens of memory & time
A vase, a rattan chair, an open fan, gently forgotten.
These moments speak of a world without noise, shaped by gestures, textures, and light.
Bhaya Soul draws inspiration from the still lifes of old Indochina postcards reimagining their quiet poetry through a personal lens.
It is a tribute to vintage postcards, telling stories of Asia through original compositions of timeless, evocative objects.
In a series of original artworks created using the cyanotype technique, each still life was carefully composed and photographed with a vintage film camera. The images were first developed through an analog process, then hand-printed on watercolor paper using sunlight following the slow, meditative rhythm of cyanotype printing.
A long, intentional process shaped by time, love, and passion to create something truly unique. A journey through the past, inviting the imagination to wander.
A series of two prints was hand-drawn and developed especially for the Bhaya Soul project, inspired by the timeless theme of tropical fruits reinterpreted in an ornamental style and subtle shades of blue. The main print is paired with a smaller geometric design, drawing from traditional motifs found on ceramic plates and bowls. Both are highlighted by plain-colored fabric accents in a line blend, chosen to evoke a natural, authentic feel.
Conceived as part of a broader visual narrative alongside the artworks, these prints help create a unique identity for each cabin where design, story, and atmosphere come together.
